Cuffed to a Pole - 10/5/2009

The 27th of September introduced two new characters, Drake (played by Andrew Kunellis) and Eric (played by Jamie Fishback). In the scene, Drake is attempting to extract information from Eric using, well, various painful methods while Eric is cuffed to the pole of a handicap sign.

Shooting the scene had its moments of intensity, but for the most part, it was loads of fun. We were blessed with nice weather and a fairly controlled exterior. Andrew and Jamie did very well with a difficult scene, bringing to it not only the suspenseful tone it required, but also many spontaneous ideas that added so much overall to the texture of the scene. .

Our crew, as always, was amazing. My man Heath ran camera, giving the scene everything I wanted visually, and more. We also introduced a new makeup person into the crew: Moira Taylor. Moira left Jamie looking pretty frightening by the end of the day, to say the least.

My thanks goes out to everyone involved for doing an A-grade job, as always: Erika, Travis, Ian, Kenton, and as mentioned previously, Heath, Moira, Jamie and Andrew.
